Why do you want to join Cursed with Awesome?

You guys are an endgame raiding guild who's raiding times I can make, and you're looking for an elemental.


List any guilds you were in recently and reasons for leaving:

I was a member of until I had to leave over the summer for a contract, and instead of moving on to a new guild I just benched myself. Unfortunately they split up over the summer, so I returned to being guild less.


List your past raiding experiences, pre-Wrath included. Try to be specific if your experience in a certain zone was limited in any way. If you have experience on another character, who and what class:

What spec do you plan to use for raiding? Explain your talent choices:

Elemental. It's cookie cutter talents, I took everything I can't compensate for with skill.


Why should we take you? Sell yourself.

I know the shit out of my class, and I'm a hardcore raider. I know my gear isn't up to par, but I'm hoping skill counts for something. I'm always prepared for raids, I'm always on time, and I always play at 900%. I absolutely refuse to gquit unless it's totally necessary. I stuck with a guild for 8 months farming kara because I didn't want to gquit. I'm the kind of person that names his Rock Band bands after his World of Warcraft guilds... yeah... and? GUILD PRIDE FO LYFE *thumps chest*

Regardless I'm hoping you guys can see past my lack of gear, and if you can't than that's no big deal, just know given the opportunity I'll kick some ass and top some charts.

**Please** look at the date on those, they're *really* old, and be aware some of the encounters included buffs that made my DPS higher than it actually is. I'm not going to bullshit you guys because I'm server transferring and would hate to be kicked the second I got there.

Regarding gear and stats, what do you primarily focus on for your character? How do you make your gear choices?

It's hard to define a stat that I *primarily* focus on. The number one statistic that I'm relentless about keeping precise is hit. Normally it's always at 289 (right now it's at 300 because I was in between trinkets.) Then I move on to Haste, which I keep at 520 until I can jump up to the next bracket of including an extra lightning bolt. Then after that I put everything else into spell power, as it's what makes elementals tick.


What are your current professions and why did you choose them?

Enchanting and Jewlcrafting because I can get the most spell power out of those.


What is your offspec? Are you good at it and how good is your gear for it?

Restoration. I'm good at it but the gear is shit, it's t7


Do you have a stable computer and connection? (what sort of latency do you play with, are you on a laptop or wireless connection)

I can't speak for your server but I typically raid at 30 ms, I'm on one hell of a desktop (i7 920 clocked at 3ghz, gtx 260, 12 gigs ddr3)

I am over 18, and I find that an odd opportunity to tell you about myself. Currently I'm looking for a guild that gives me the opportunity to help them out the best I can. That means getting a raid spot and getting some gear. However it's a two way relationship, in return I can give you commitment and a curious tickle you can't tell your parents about I MEAN the hard work required to put into end game raiding characters.

If my gear is a major deterrent I apologize, however there isn't much I can do about it at the moment, regardless thanks for taking a look at the application.
